Armchair Vice

In the armchair design world there is a lot of
cushioning techniques, something I have no
experience with. I thought to myself, I do not
want to make a cushion, how can I make this
disadvantage an advantage?
I wanted to turn the fact I have no knowldge at
this form of craftmanship from into my strength.
With sketches, thoughts, and the fact that I
don’t know how to cushion, I came up with
the idea for the vice armchair and created two
frames that form the basis of the fabric closure,
but the textile itself will form the basis and
the construction for sitting. In the armchair I
created I wanted all the pieces to depende on
one another.
